Pulling up to a stoplight in Dhaka is an experience... people flaunt drugged infants, wave missing apendages, and try to sell you flowers or popcorn. Sometimes, elder children are abandoned in the city to fend for themselves if a family in the village has too many mouths to feed... "manhood" sometimes coming as early as 12 years of age.

I "filmed" this during a simple, one way trip home to where I was staying in Dhaka. That one kid with the flowers is gonna grow up to be a charmer; the other, standing alone at the intersection, breaks my heart every time.
